Fused Fabrication Features
- Can be heated up to 600 °C (1112 °F) for thermal or environmental testing.
- Assembled with quartz powder — micro-gaps may stain over time, so long-term sample storage is not recommended.
- Excellent resistance to most acids and bases except HF.
- Not compatible with aggressive organic solvents such as toluene and acetone, which can degrade the fused structure and shorten service life.
- No adhesives used — ensuring clean, inert optical surfaces with minimal background interference.
