Fused Fabrication Features
- Can be heated up to 600 °C (1112 °F) for thermal and environmental testing.
- Assembled with quartz powder — micro-gaps may stain over time, so long-term sample storage is not recommended.
- Excellent chemical resistance except to hydrofluoric acid (HF).
- Not compatible with strong organic solvents such as toluene and acetone, which can degrade the fused structure.
- No adhesives used — providing clean, inert, and stable optical surfaces.
