Description

VNE061 – 17.5 mL Quartz Long Path Length Fluorescence Cuvette (50 mm Lightpath, 5 Windows, PTFE Lid, Molded Fabrication)

The VNE061 is a high-quality long path length cuvette specifically designed for applications requiring enhanced sensitivity at low concentrations. With a 50 mm optical path length and 5 optically clear windows, this cuvette significantly increases signal intensity and detection resolution for fluorescence and absorbance measurements.

Made from high-purity quartz using molded fabrication, the VNE061 offers exceptional optical clarity and precise path length tolerance (±0.01 mm). It covers a wide spectral range from 190 to 2500 nm, suitable for both UV and VIS measurements. A PTFE lid is included to provide excellent chemical resistance and minimize sample loss.

Key Features

  • 50 mm optical path length: boosts measurement sensitivity for trace and low-concentration samples.
  • 5 optical windows: ideal for fluorescence experiments with multiple detection angles.
  • Quartz construction: high UV/VIS transmission (190–2500 nm) with excellent chemical durability.
  • Molded fabrication: superior path length precision and optical surface quality.
  • PTFE lid: resistant to acids, bases, and most organic solvents, reducing evaporation and contamination.
  • Medium volume (17.5 mL): balances sensitivity and sample economy for a wide range of analytical tasks.

Typical Applications

  • Trace fluorescence analysis and ultra-low concentration measurements
  • Environmental monitoring (e.g., nitrates, phosphates, pollutants)
  • Pharmaceutical and biochemical assays
  • Advanced optical and materials research
  • UV/VIS spectrophotometry requiring extended path lengths

Why QVARZ Cuvettes and Cells?

QVARZ is world-renowned as the producer of premium quartz cuvettes. Over fifteen years of experience manufacturing quartz cuvettes ensures that every QVARZ cuvettes are manufactured to the most exacting standards for reproducible results.

  • Spectrophotometry cuvettes - Most spectrophotometry applications in the visible and UV ranges benefit from QVARZ spectrophotometry cuvettes. Our cuvettes made of fused quartz material deliver precise and reliable readings even at wavelengths as low as 190 nm. QVARZ cuvettes are compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers with standard 0.2 - 100 mm path lengths.

  • Fluorometry cuvettes - QVARZ brings two decades of experience molding high-quality spectrophotometry cuvettes to new four-sided clear cuvettes for fluorometry. Available in standard quartz material with ultra-low auto-fluorescence for the highest precision measurements.

  • Protective packaging - QVARZ cuvettes are encased in dust-free, low scratching expanded polystyrene packaging. This ensures that premium cuvettes arrive in the laboratory ina the same pristine condition they were in at the factory, with optical quality windows and free of contaminants.

  • Volumes for most purposes - Our cuvettes are available in a variety of ranges from macro to macro semi-micro sizes to respond to the needs of most scientific applications. We are also able to customize sample volume to deliver consistent, accurate findings.

  • Perform consistently - QVARZ Cuvettes are constructed from high-quality fused quartz materials and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavities to ensure the lowest fluctuation in extinction coefficient.

  • Customization - Custom cuvettes and cells are encouraged and available upon request; mechanical drawings with specifications and tolerances are prerequisites. Awesome pricing and flexibility on small quantities.
