- Type: Fused
Description
VFFL20N Fused Quartz Cuvette is a 4-window cuvette with a 20 mm optical path length and 8 ml volume.
It is made using fused fabrication, providing excellent thermal resistance and broad chemical compatibility, ideal for fluorescence and absorbance measurements that require durability and stable performance.
Key Features
- 20 mm optical path — enhances absorbance signal intensity and improves sensitivity for fluorescence detection.
- 4-window design — suitable for both transmission and right-angle fluorescence measurements.
- Fused quartz construction — withstands high temperatures (up to 600 °C) and most chemicals, except HF and some strong organic solvents.
- Open-top format — easy sample handling and cleaning, ideal for non-volatile solutions and quick experiments.
- High transmission from 190–2500 nm for UV/VIS/NIR measurements.
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence and absorbance spectroscopy across UV/VIS/NIR.
- Photochemical experiments requiring temperature stability.
- Environmental, chemical, and materials analysis.
- Routine measurements and R&D lab applications.
Fused Fabrication Notes
- Can be heated to 600 °C without deformation.
- Assembled with quartz powder — slight surface coloration may occur with certain dyes or strong solvents.
- Not recommended for long-term storage of samples.
- Not compatible with HF, toluene, acetone, and other strong organic solvents — these will shorten the cuvette’s lifespan.
