Description
VNE059 – 10.5 mL Quartz Long Path Length Fluorescence Cuvette (30 mm Lightpath, 4 Windows, PTFE Lid, Fused Fabrication)
The VNE059 is a high-quality long path length cuvette specifically designed for trace-level fluorescence and absorbance measurements. It features a 30 mm optical path length with 4 optically clear windows, making it suitable for standard fluorescence detection setups with excellent transmission in the UV and visible ranges.
This cuvette is produced using fused fabrication, which provides good optical clarity at a lower cost compared to molded fabrication. It offers reliable performance for a wide range of applications but has a shorter service life under harsh chemical conditions. A PTFE lid ensures good chemical resistance and minimizes sample evaporation during sensitive measurements.
⚠️ Important: While fused cuvettes are resistant to acids and bases (except HF), they are not recommended for prolonged exposure to strong organic solvents such as toluene, acetone, and other aggressive organics. These may cause etching or staining of the fused seams, reducing optical performance over time.
Key Features
- 30 mm optical path length: enhances sensitivity for low-concentration fluorescence and absorbance measurements.
- 4 optical windows: ideal for standard front-face or right-angle fluorescence detection.
- Fused fabrication: good optical transmission with lower cost; suitable for general lab use.
- Quartz material: excellent UV/VIS transmission (190–2500 nm).
- PTFE lid: provides strong chemical resistance against acids and bases, minimizes evaporation.
- 10.5 mL volume: medium sample capacity, suitable for analytical and environmental applications.
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence and absorbance measurements
- Water quality and environmental testing
- Routine analytical chemistry
- Educational and research laboratories
