Description
VFOF2 – 0.7 mL Standard Fluorescence Cuvette (Fused, 2 mm or 10 mm Lightpath, 4 Windows)
The VFOF2 is a standard fused quartz fluorescence cuvette with an adjustable optical path length of 2 mm or 10 mm and a compact 0.7 mL sample volume. It is made using Fused Fabrication (assembled with quartz powder), offering excellent chemical resistance, optical clarity, and thermal stability. This cuvette is ideal for sensitive fluorescence or absorbance measurements with limited sample volumes.
Key Features
- 2 mm short path length: perfect for high concentration samples; optional 10 mm for standard measurements.
- 4 clear windows: optimized for side detection in fluorescence spectroscopy.
- Fused fabrication: reliable optical clarity and durability at elevated temperatures.
- Heat resistance: up to 600 °C (1112 °F).
- Chemical resistance: excellent against most acids and bases, but not compatible with HF, toluene, acetone, or strong organic solvents.
- Pathlength tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
- Secure packaging: foam and bubble wrap; drop-tested to 1 m before shipment.
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence spectroscopy with limited volume
- UV/VIS absorbance measurements
- Biological and biochemical assays
- Pharmaceutical and materials research
