Description
VAOF2 – 0.7 mL Standard Absorption Cuvette (Fused, 2 mm Lightpath, 2 Windows)
The VAOF2 is a standard fused quartz absorption cuvette featuring a 2 mm optical path length and a 0.7 mL sample volume.
This cuvette is made using Fused Fabrication (assembled with quartz powder), which provides excellent thermal stability, broad UV/VIS transmittance, and reliable performance for analytical and research applications.
Key Features
- 2 mm path length: ideal for high concentration samples or short optical path absorbance testing.
- 2 optical windows: optimized for standard transmission measurements.
- Fused fabrication: reliable optical quality with good temperature and chemical resistance.
- Thermal resistance: up to 600 °C (1112 °F).
- Chemical resistance: compatible with most acids and bases but not suitable for HF, toluene, acetone, or strong organic solvents.
- Pathlength tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
- Secure packaging: foam and bubble wrap; drop-tested from 1 meter before shipment.
Typical Applications
- UV/VIS absorption spectroscopy
- High concentration solution analysis
- Environmental and chemical testing
- Biological and pharmaceutical research
