Description
VAOF1 – 0.35 mL Standard Absorption Cuvette (Fused, 1 mm Lightpath, 2 Windows)
The VAOF1 is a standard fused quartz absorption cuvette with a 1 mm optical path length and a 0.35 mL sample volume.
Built using Fused Fabrication (assembled with quartz powder), this cuvette offers excellent thermal stability, UV/VIS transparency, and chemical durability—making it ideal for high concentration samples or trace analysis requiring short optical paths.
Key Features
- 1 mm path length: designed for high concentration or low optical density measurements.
- 2 optical windows: optimized for standard absorption spectroscopy.
- Fused fabrication: provides high clarity and stable transmission at elevated temperatures.
- Thermal resistance: up to 600 °C (1112 °F).
- Chemical resistance: excellent against most acids and bases, but not compatible with HF, toluene, acetone, or strong organic solvents.
- Pathlength tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
- Packaging: foam and bubble wrap; drop-tested to 1 m before shipment.
Typical Applications
- UV/VIS absorption spectroscopy
- Trace detection and high concentration sample analysis
- Biological and chemical assays
- Industrial and environmental testing
