Description

VNE052 – 1.75 mL Quartz Fluorescence Cuvette (5 mm Lightpath, 5 Windows, PTFE Lid, Molded Fabrication)

The VNE052 is a high-precision quartz cuvette designed for fluorescence and absorbance applications where small sample volume and high measurement accuracy are essential. With a 5 mm optical path length and 5 optically clear windows, this cuvette is ideal for front-face fluorescence, right-angle detection, and high-concentration sample analysis where a standard 10 mm path length may lead to oversaturation.

Manufactured using molded fabrication, this cuvette delivers superior dimensional accuracy (±0.01 mm), excellent optical clarity, and enhanced chemical durability. Molded quartz cuvettes are one-piece structures without bonded seams, providing maximum resistance to strong acids, bases, and aggressive organic solvents. The PTFE lid offers reliable sealing and chemical resistance, reducing sample evaporation during extended measurements.

Chemical Compatibility

Molded quartz cuvettes are resistant to a broad range of corrosive and organic chemicals, making them suitable for demanding analytical environments.

  • ✔ Compatible with strong acids and bases (except HF), aqueous buffers, alcohols, and most organic solvents.
  • ✔ Excellent performance with aggressive solvents such as toluene, acetone, chloroform, and carbon tetrachloride.
  • ❌ Not compatible with hydrofluoric acid (HF).
  • Durable for long-term use in harsh chemical environments with minimal risk of damage.

Key Features

  • 5 mm optical path length: prevents oversaturation for concentrated samples and enables accurate fluorescence or absorbance measurements.
  • 5 optical windows: allows multiple detection configurations, including right-angle and front-face fluorescence.
  • Molded fabrication: one-piece design ensures high precision and superior chemical resistance.
  • PTFE lid: provides strong resistance to solvents and minimizes sample loss through evaporation.
  • 1.75 mL sample volume: ideal for applications with limited or valuable samples.

Typical Applications

  • Fluorescence and absorbance spectroscopy
  • High-concentration or high-absorbance sample analysis
  • Pharmaceutical, biochemical, and environmental testing
  • Research and QA/QC laboratories

Why QVARZ Cuvettes and Cells?

QVARZ is world-renowned as the producer of premium quartz cuvettes. Over fifteen years of experience manufacturing quartz cuvettes ensures that every QVARZ cuvettes are manufactured to the most exacting standards for reproducible results.

  • Spectrophotometry cuvettes - Most spectrophotometry applications in the visible and UV ranges benefit from QVARZ spectrophotometry cuvettes. Our cuvettes made of fused quartz material deliver precise and reliable readings even at wavelengths as low as 190 nm. QVARZ cuvettes are compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers with standard 0.2 - 100 mm path lengths.

  • Fluorometry cuvettes - QVARZ brings two decades of experience molding high-quality spectrophotometry cuvettes to new four-sided clear cuvettes for fluorometry. Available in standard quartz material with ultra-low auto-fluorescence for the highest precision measurements.

  • Protective packaging - QVARZ cuvettes are encased in dust-free, low scratching expanded polystyrene packaging. This ensures that premium cuvettes arrive in the laboratory ina the same pristine condition they were in at the factory, with optical quality windows and free of contaminants.

  • Volumes for most purposes - Our cuvettes are available in a variety of ranges from macro to macro semi-micro sizes to respond to the needs of most scientific applications. We are also able to customize sample volume to deliver consistent, accurate findings.

  • Perform consistently - QVARZ Cuvettes are constructed from high-quality fused quartz materials and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavities to ensure the lowest fluctuation in extinction coefficient.

  • Customization - Custom cuvettes and cells are encouraged and available upon request; mechanical drawings with specifications and tolerances are prerequisites. Awesome pricing and flexibility on small quantities.
