Description
VFPFS3 – 1.05 mL Semi-Micro Quartz Cuvette (Fused, 3 mm Width, 4 Windows, with Stopper)
The VFPFS3 is a semi-micro fused quartz cuvette engineered for fluorescence spectroscopy. With a 3 mm internal width and 4 optical windows, it provides excellent optical performance while maintaining moderate sample consumption. Equipped with a PTFE stopper, it ensures secure sealing to minimize sample loss during sensitive experiments.
Key Features
- Sample volume: 1.05 mL — ideal for semi-micro fluorescence applications.
- 3 mm internal width: provides stable path length and good signal strength for fluorescence detection.
- 4 optical windows: designed for dual-direction fluorescence (excitation and emission).
- PTFE stopper: offers reliable sealing, reducing evaporation and contamination.
- Fused fabrication: constructed with quartz powder, resistant to temperatures up to 600 °C (1112 °F).
- Path length tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
- Wavelength range: UV/VIS (190 – 2500 nm).
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence spectroscopy (90° excitation–emission)
- Trace analysis with moderate sample volumes
- Biochemical, environmental, and pharmaceutical research
- Quantitative assays requiring high signal quality

About Fused Fabrication
Fused quartz cuvettes are made by sintering quartz powder at high temperature, offering:
- Thermal resistance up to 600 °C (1112 °F).
- High optical clarity and excellent UV transparency.
- Stable path length tolerance (±0.06 – 0.08 mm).
Usage Notes
- Fused seams may stain or discolor with repeated use.
- Not suitable for long-term sample storage.
- Do not use with: hydrofluoric acid (HF), toluene, acetone, or other aggressive organic solvents — these can shorten cuvette lifespan.
Note: For experiments involving aggressive solvents or extended storage, molded quartz cuvettes offer better durability and chemical resistance.

| Note | Molded and fused cuvettes and cells are assembled by direct fusion without the use of adhesives throughout the production process. This guarantees resistance against corrosive chemicals and high temperature. Each quartz cuvette and cell has excellent transmission from 190nm to 2500nm. | ||||
