About Fused Fabrication
Fused quartz cuvettes are manufactured using high-temperature sintering of quartz powder, ensuring:
- Exceptional thermal stability — up to 600 °C.
- High optical clarity and dimensional precision for fluorescence measurements.
- Chemical resistance to most acids and bases (except HF and strong organic solvents such as toluene or acetone).
- Typical path length tolerance: ±0.06–0.08 mm.
Usage Notes
- Perfect for high-sensitivity fluorescence measurements with moderate sample volumes.
- Best used with aqueous or moderate solvents.
- Not suitable for long-term storage of aggressive organic solvents.
Note: Fused quartz cuvettes provide superior optical performance, durability, and chemical stability, making them ideal for fluorescence spectroscopy applications.
