Description
VFOF14 – 1.2 mL Customized Short Height Fluorescence Cuvette (Fused, 10 mm Lightpath, 4 Windows)
The VFOF14 is a short-height fused quartz fluorescence cuvette with a standard 10 mm optical path length and a 1.2 mL sample volume.
Constructed using Fused Fabrication (assembled with quartz powder), this cuvette provides excellent optical clarity, high thermal resistance, and stable performance.
The reduced height allows more efficient use of sample while maintaining standard optical geometry.
Key Features
- Short height (14 mm): ideal for smaller sample volumes and compact setups.
- 10 mm lightpath: compatible with standard fluorescence and UV/VIS instruments.
- 4 clear windows: optimized for fluorescence excitation and emission detection.
- Fused fabrication: high optical quality and strong thermal stability.
- Heat resistance: up to 600 °C (1112 °F).
- Chemical resistance: resistant to most acids, bases, and solvents, but not compatible with HF, toluene, acetone, or strong organic solvents.
- Pathlength tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
- Protective packaging: foam and bubble wrap; drop-tested to 1 m before shipment.
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence spectroscopy
- UV/VIS absorbance measurements
- Low-volume biochemical assays
- Pharmaceutical and materials research
