About Fused Fabrication
- Fused quartz cuvettes are made by sintering quartz powder at high temperatures.
- They can withstand temperatures up to 600 °C and are resistant to most acids and bases (except HF and strong organic solvents such as toluene and acetone).
- Path length tolerance is typically ±0.06–0.08 mm.
About Four-Window Design
- Enables simultaneous excitation and emission measurements for fluorescence analysis.
- Improves flexibility for right-angle or front-face detection.
- Also suitable for absorbance readings if needed.
Usage Notes
- Ideal for medium-volume fluorescence spectroscopy applications.
- Handle with care to protect optical surfaces.
- Not recommended for prolonged storage with strong organic solvents.
Note: Fused quartz cuvettes provide superior thermal stability and good chemical resistance, making them a reliable option for fluorescence and UV/VIS spectroscopy.
