- Type: Fused
Description
VAOF16 Fused Quartz Macro Cuvette is a 16 ml capacity large cuvette designed for UV/VIS absorbance measurements with a 10 mm optical path length. It is made from high-purity fused quartz and is suitable for colorimetry and other spectrophotometric analyses that require stable optical performance and good chemical resistance.
Key Features
- 10 mm path length — standard for most UV/VIS spectrophotometers.
- Large 16 ml capacity — supports higher sample volumes, suitable for colorimetric and solution analysis.
- Fused quartz construction — excellent UV transmission (190–2500 nm), high temperature tolerance up to 600 °C, and stable chemical resistance (except HF and strong organic solvents).
- 2 clear windows — optimized for transmission and absorbance measurements.
- High dimensional precision for accurate and repeatable results.
Typical Applications
- Colorimetric assays and solution testing
- UV/VIS absorbance spectroscopy
- Biological and chemical analysis
- Environmental water quality and industrial testing
Fused Fabrication Notes
- Not suitable for HF and strong organic solvents such as toluene and acetone.
- Powder seams may discolor over time but will not affect measurement accuracy.
- Dimensional tolerance: typically ±0.06–0.08 mm.
