Description

VNE069 – 50 µL Sub-Micro Absorption Cuvette, Black Walls, 10 mm Lightpath, 2 Windows, Bonded Fabrication

The VNE069 is an ultra-low-volume quartz cuvette optimized for UV/VIS absorbance measurements of small-volume aqueous samples.
With a 10 mm optical path length and a total internal volume of only 50 µL, it is ideal for highly concentrated or precious samples used in biochemical and molecular biology applications.

The cuvette features black exterior walls, effectively minimizing stray light and enhancing measurement precision, even at low absorbance levels. Its bonded fabrication provides a fast, cost-effective solution for routine assays involving buffer or water-based samples.

Chemical Compatibility

Bonded quartz cuvettes are designed exclusively for aqueous samples. The optical adhesive does not tolerate aggressive solvents or strong acids/bases.

  • ✔ Compatible: water, buffers, mild aqueous solutions.
  • ⚠ Not suitable for strong acids, bases, or organic solvents.
  • ❌ Incompatible with toluene, acetone, MEK, chloroform, and HF.

Key Features

  • 50 µL ultra-low sample volume: ideal for precious or concentrated samples.
  • 10 mm optical path length: compatible with standard spectrophotometers.
  • Black outer walls: minimize stray light and improve S/N performance.
  • Bonded fabrication: fast delivery and cost-effective design for aqueous applications.
  • Wavelength range: UV/VIS (190–2500 nm).

Typical Applications

  • DNA/RNA quantification and protein assays
  • Enzyme kinetics and biochemical analysis
  • UV/VIS absorbance measurements of small-volume samples
  • Buffer or aqueous solution testing
  • Routine laboratory or educational experiments

Why QVARZ Cuvettes and Cells?

QVARZ is world-renowned as the producer of premium quartz cuvettes. Over fifteen years of experience manufacturing quartz cuvettes ensures that every QVARZ cuvettes are manufactured to the most exacting standards for reproducible results.

  • Spectrophotometry cuvettes - Most spectrophotometry applications in the visible and UV ranges benefit from QVARZ spectrophotometry cuvettes. Our cuvettes made of fused quartz material deliver precise and reliable readings even at wavelengths as low as 190 nm. QVARZ cuvettes are compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers with standard 0.2 - 100 mm path lengths.

  • Fluorometry cuvettes - QVARZ brings two decades of experience molding high-quality spectrophotometry cuvettes to new four-sided clear cuvettes for fluorometry. Available in standard quartz material with ultra-low auto-fluorescence for the highest precision measurements.

  • Protective packaging - QVARZ cuvettes are encased in dust-free, low scratching expanded polystyrene packaging. This ensures that premium cuvettes arrive in the laboratory ina the same pristine condition they were in at the factory, with optical quality windows and free of contaminants.

  • Volumes for most purposes - Our cuvettes are available in a variety of ranges from macro to macro semi-micro sizes to respond to the needs of most scientific applications. We are also able to customize sample volume to deliver consistent, accurate findings.

  • Perform consistently - QVARZ Cuvettes are constructed from high-quality fused quartz materials and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavities to ensure the lowest fluctuation in extinction coefficient.

  • Customization - Custom cuvettes and cells are encouraged and available upon request; mechanical drawings with specifications and tolerances are prerequisites. Awesome pricing and flexibility on small quantities.
