$71.00
This sub-micro cuvette is for absorption applications, with a path length of 10 mm. For Aqueous Samples Only. Use up to 100°C. The price is for 1 piece.
- Type: Bonded, For Aqueous Samples Only
Description
VAOB10B – 100 μL Sub-Micro Quartz Cuvette (Bonded, Bottom Black, 2 Windows)
The VAOB10B is a sub-micro quartz cuvette designed for absorption spectroscopy with very small aqueous samples.
The bottom black wall design reduces background reflection while allowing light to pass through the optical windows efficiently.
With a 2 × 5 mm aperture and standard 10 mm optical path length, this cuvette ensures high measurement accuracy with minimal sample volume.
Key Features
- Low sample volume: 100 μL, suitable for precious or limited aqueous samples.
- Bottom black wall: reduces background interference and improves S/N ratio.
- Bonded fabrication: cost-effective and fast to customize for aqueous applications.
- 10 mm optical path length: compatible with most UV/VIS spectrophotometers.
- 2-window design: optimized for absorption and transmission measurements.
- PTFE lid included: helps reduce evaporation and contamination.
- Wavelength range: UV/VIS (190 – 2500 nm).
Typical Applications
- Absorbance and transmission of aqueous solutions
- Trace-level biochemical and environmental analysis
- Life sciences, pharmaceutical testing, and R&D
- Low-volume routine spectrophotometric measurements

About Bonded Fabrication
Bonded quartz cuvettes are produced using high-precision bonding technology, offering:
- Best suited for aqueous samples only — not recommended for strong organic solvents.
- Fast, flexible customization with lower cost compared to molded fabrication.
- Good optical clarity and path length tolerance of ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
Note: For experiments involving aggressive organic solvents or long-term storage, molded cuvettes provide better durability and chemical resistance.
