- Type: Bonded, For Aqueous Samples Only
Description
VAOB10C – 100 μL Sub-Micro Quartz Cuvette (Bonded, Semi Black, 25 mm Custom Height, 2 Windows)
The VAOB10C is a custom sub-micro quartz cuvette engineered for absorption spectroscopy using extremely small sample volumes.
This model features a shortened total height of 25 mm—ideal for specialized or compact instrument setups—while maintaining a standard 10 mm optical path length and 2 × 5 mm aperture.
The semi-black wall design minimizes stray light from the base, ensuring stable and reproducible measurement results.
Key Features
- Low sample volume: 100 μL, suitable for high-value or limited aqueous samples.
- Custom short height: 25 mm total height for compact setups and special holders.
- Semi-black wall design: effectively reduces bottom reflection while maintaining clear visibility.
- Bonded fabrication: fast customization and lower cost for aqueous applications.
- 10 mm optical path: compatible with standard UV/VIS spectrophotometers.
- 2-window design: optimized for absorbance and transmission measurements.
- Wavelength range: UV/VIS (190 – 2500 nm).
Typical Applications
- Low-volume aqueous sample absorbance measurement
- Biochemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental testing
- Compact instrument systems requiring short-height cuvettes
- Custom or OEM optical setups

About Bonded Fabrication
Bonded quartz cuvettes are manufactured using precision bonding technology, offering:
- Best suited for aqueous samples only (not recommended for aggressive organic solvents).
- Fast turnaround and cost-effective customization.
- Good optical clarity and stable path length tolerance (±0.06 – 0.08 mm).
Note: For aggressive solvents or long-term storage, molded cuvettes offer superior durability and chemical resistance.
