Description

VNE067 – 21 mL Quartz Absorption Cuvette, 60 mm Lightpath, 2 Windows, Fused Fabrication

The VNE067 is a precision quartz cuvette designed for absorbance measurements in the UV/VIS range (190–2500 nm).
With a 60 mm optical path length and 2 clear optical windows, this cuvette enhances sensitivity for low-concentration measurements, making it ideal for environmental, chemical, and photometric analysis.

Manufactured using fused fabrication, this cuvette is resistant to high temperatures (up to 600 °C) and compatible with most strong acids and organic solvents, providing excellent chemical durability. It is a cost-effective and robust solution for demanding laboratory environments.

Chemical Compatibility

Fused quartz cuvettes offer excellent chemical resistance and broad solvent compatibility.

  • ✔ Compatible: strong acids (except HF), bases, alcohols, and most organic solvents (e.g., toluene, acetone, MEK).
  • ⚠ Prolonged exposure to aggressive solvents may shorten service life.
  • ❌ Not compatible with hydrofluoric acid (HF).

Key Features

  • 60 mm optical path length: improves sensitivity for trace-level detection.
  • Fused fabrication: high chemical durability and heat resistance.
  • 2 optical windows: optimized for standard absorbance measurements.
  • 21 mL capacity: suitable for medium-volume sample analysis.
  • Quartz material: UV/VIS transmission range 190–2500 nm.

Typical Applications

  • Absorbance spectroscopy
  • Low-concentration sample analysis
  • Environmental testing and water analysis
  • Photochemical and kinetic studies

Why QVARZ Cuvettes and Cells?

QVARZ is world-renowned as the producer of premium quartz cuvettes. Over fifteen years of experience manufacturing quartz cuvettes ensures that every QVARZ cuvettes are manufactured to the most exacting standards for reproducible results.

  • Spectrophotometry cuvettes - Most spectrophotometry applications in the visible and UV ranges benefit from QVARZ spectrophotometry cuvettes. Our cuvettes made of fused quartz material deliver precise and reliable readings even at wavelengths as low as 190 nm. QVARZ cuvettes are compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers with standard 0.2 - 100 mm path lengths.

  • Fluorometry cuvettes - QVARZ brings two decades of experience molding high-quality spectrophotometry cuvettes to new four-sided clear cuvettes for fluorometry. Available in standard quartz material with ultra-low auto-fluorescence for the highest precision measurements.

  • Protective packaging - QVARZ cuvettes are encased in dust-free, low scratching expanded polystyrene packaging. This ensures that premium cuvettes arrive in the laboratory ina the same pristine condition they were in at the factory, with optical quality windows and free of contaminants.

  • Volumes for most purposes - Our cuvettes are available in a variety of ranges from macro to macro semi-micro sizes to respond to the needs of most scientific applications. We are also able to customize sample volume to deliver consistent, accurate findings.

  • Perform consistently - QVARZ Cuvettes are constructed from high-quality fused quartz materials and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavities to ensure the lowest fluctuation in extinction coefficient.

  • Customization - Custom cuvettes and cells are encouraged and available upon request; mechanical drawings with specifications and tolerances are prerequisites. Awesome pricing and flexibility on small quantities.
