Description
VAOF40 Fused Quartz Long Pathlength Cuvette is a 40 mm standard absorption cuvette equipped with a PTFE lid.
This cuvette provides extended pathlength for higher detection sensitivity in UV/VIS spectroscopy.
Key Features
- 40 mm optical pathlength — enhances absorbance signals, improving detection of trace or low-concentration samples.
- PTFE lid — prevents sample evaporation and contamination during extended measurement runs.
- Fused quartz fabrication — excellent UV transparency (190–2500 nm), high thermal resistance (up to 600 °C), and strong chemical durability (except HF and some organic solvents).
- Round base design — ensures secure fit with standard spectrophotometer holders.
- Reliable and stable for routine analytical and research use.
Typical Applications
- Trace analysis and low-concentration measurements
- Environmental and water quality monitoring
- Pharmaceutical and biochemical R&D
- General UV/VIS absorption spectroscopy
Fused Fabrication Notes
- Excellent UV/VIS optical performance and heat resistance
- Pathlength tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm
- Not recommended for HF, toluene, acetone, or aggressive solvents
