Description
VAOF20 Fused Quartz Long Pathlength Cuvette is a 20 mm standard absorption cuvette designed for extended pathlength UV/VIS measurements.
It comes with a PTFE lid to minimize sample evaporation and maintain measurement consistency.
Key Features
- 20 mm optical pathlength — increases absorbance signal and enhances the detection of low-concentration samples.
- PTFE lid — prevents evaporation and contamination during extended measurements or kinetic studies.
- Fused quartz fabrication — provides superior optical clarity, excellent UV transparency (190–2500 nm), and high thermal and chemical resistance.
- Round base design — ensures compatibility with most standard spectrophotometer holders.
- Ideal for routine and advanced laboratory spectroscopy.
Typical Applications
- Trace and low-concentration sample detection
- Environmental and water quality analysis
- Pharmaceutical and biochemical R&D
- General UV/VIS absorption spectroscopy
Fused Fabrication Notes
- High temperature resistance up to 600 °C
- Light path tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm
- Not suitable for HF, toluene, acetone, and aggressive organic solvents
