Description
VLFQU Flow Cell is a high-precision quartz flow cell designed for fluorescence spectroscopy and other optical measurement applications requiring stable signal transmission and high chemical resistance. It features a 10 mm optical path length and a 3.5 mL internal volume, making it ideal for medium to large sample flows in analytical and research settings.
This model uses fused fabrication, assembled with quartz powder at high temperatures, ensuring excellent optical clarity and no use of adhesives. Its quartz tube connector offers high chemical resistance and durability, making it suitable for demanding continuous-flow systems.
Fused Fabrication Features
- Excellent optical transmission across 190–2500 nm wavelength range.
- Adhesive-free construction ensures clean, inert flow channels.
- Can be heated up to 600 °C for long-term use.
- Good resistance to most acids and bases (except HF).
- Note: Not suitable for long-term storage with aggressive organic solvents such as toluene or acetone, which can stain or degrade seams.
- Path length tolerance: ±0.06–0.08 mm.
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence spectroscopy
- Process and environmental monitoring
- Chromatography detector flow cells
- OEM and custom optical systems
