About Bonded Fabrication
Bonded quartz cuvettes are assembled from precision-polished quartz plates. This method:
- Enables faster lead times and lower cost than molded or fused cuvettes.
- Maintains optical precision with ±0.06–0.08 mm path length tolerance.
- Best suited for aqueous samples and general lab use.
Usage Notes
- Ideal for fluorescence measurements that require both excitation and emission through side windows.
- Recommended for aqueous solutions — not ideal for long-term use with strong organic solvents.
- Compact semi-micro design saves sample while maintaining sensitivity.
Note: Bonded cuvettes provide excellent value and flexibility for routine fluorescence assays. For higher solvent resistance or extended chemical compatibility, molded or fused cuvettes are recommended.
