About Bonded Fabrication
Bonded quartz cuvettes are constructed from precision-polished quartz plates. This method:
- Enables fast production with lower costs compared to molded or fused types.
- Maintains excellent optical tolerance of ±0.06–0.08 mm.
- Best suited for aqueous samples and general fluorescence or absorbance experiments.
Usage Notes
- Ideal for fluorescence measurements requiring dual detection paths.
- Not recommended for long-term exposure to strong organic solvents.
- 5 mm channel width provides higher signal sensitivity compared to narrower cuvettes.
Note: Bonded cuvettes are cost-effective and precise for routine fluorescence assays. For higher chemical resistance, consider fused or molded quartz cuvettes.
