About Fused Fabrication
Fused quartz cuvettes are manufactured using quartz powder and high-temperature sintering, offering:
- Exceptional heat resistance — up to 600 °C.
- Excellent optical clarity and stability for precise measurements.
- Resistance to most acids and bases (except HF, toluene, acetone, and other strong organic solvents).
- Typical path length tolerance of ±0.06–0.08 mm.
Usage Notes
- Suitable for high-precision absorption experiments.
- Recommended for use with aqueous solutions or moderate solvents.
- Not ideal for long-term storage of strong organic chemicals.
Note: Fused quartz cuvettes provide superior thermal and chemical durability compared to bonded types, making them ideal for high-precision analytical work.
