VAPBH2 – 0.7 mL Semi-Micro Quartz Cuvette (Bonded, 2 mm Width, 2 Windows, Black Walls, PTFE Stopper)

The VAPBH2 is a bonded quartz cuvette designed for UV/VIS absorption spectroscopy, particularly when working with limited sample volumes and concentrated solutions.
With a 2 mm internal width and standard 10 mm light path, it combines high optical accuracy with efficient sample usage.
The black walls effectively block stray light and reduce background noise, enabling more precise and stable readings.

About Bonded Fabrication

Bonded quartz cuvettes are assembled from precision-polished quartz components, offering:

  • Faster customization and more economical pricing than molded or fused types.
  • Path length tolerance of approximately ±0.06–0.08 mm.
  • Best used with aqueous samples.

Usage Notes

  • Ideal for routine lab analysis with moderate volumes.
  • Not suitable for prolonged exposure to strong organic solvents.
  • Black walls reduce background noise and enhance signal stability.

Note: Bonded cuvettes provide an excellent balance of precision and affordability for standard spectroscopy applications. For enhanced chemical resistance or extended solvent use, molded cuvettes are recommended.
