Description
VAOF3 – 1.05 mL Standard Absorption Cuvette (Fused, 3 mm Lightpath, 2 Windows)
The VAOF3 is a standard fused quartz absorption cuvette with a 3 mm optical path length and a 1.05 mL sample volume.
Manufactured through Fused Fabrication (assembled with quartz powder), it offers excellent thermal stability, broad UV/VIS transmittance, and chemical resistance — suitable for high-concentration measurements and routine analytical applications.
Key Features
- 3 mm optical path length: ideal for concentrated samples and short-path absorbance applications.
- Fused fabrication: stable structure, good optical transmission, and cost-effective solution.
- 2 optical windows: designed for accurate absorption measurements.
- Round base design: easy to align with standard cuvette holders.
- Broad wavelength range: 190–2500 nm (UV/VIS).
- Thermal resistance: up to 600 °C (1112 °F).
- Chemical compatibility: resistant to most acids and bases but not suitable for HF, toluene, acetone, or strong organic solvents.
- Pathlength tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
- Secure packaging: foam and bubble wrap; drop-tested from 1 meter before shipment.
Typical Applications
- UV/VIS absorption spectroscopy
- High concentration solution analysis
- Environmental and chemical testing
- Biotechnology and pharmaceutical research
