Description
VAOF130 Fused Quartz Absorption Cuvette is a 2-window cuvette with a 13 ml volume, designed for a wide range of general UV/VIS analytical applications.
The cuvette features a wide-front and shallow-depth design, providing a stable optical interface and ample sample capacity suitable for laboratory and industrial measurement scenarios.
This cuvette is frequently used in environmental analysis, industrial process monitoring, and biochemical laboratories, where stable measurement and compatibility with standard spectrophotometers are required.
Its large front surface allows for efficient light transmission and flexible integration into standard or customized measurement systems.
Key Features
- 13 ml capacity — suitable for larger sample volumes in standard or automated testing.
- 2-window design — ideal for absorbance and transmission spectroscopy.
- Fused quartz construction — provides excellent optical clarity, thermal stability, and chemical resistance.
- Wavelength range: 190–2500 nm — compatible with most UV/VIS and NIR instruments.
- Wide and shallow geometry — ensures stable optical performance and easy handling.
Typical Applications
- Environmental water and wastewater analysis
- Industrial fluid and process monitoring
- Pharmaceutical and biotech R&D
- Routine UV/VIS spectroscopy in quality control labs
- Custom or automated measurement setups
Fused Fabrication Notes
- Fused quartz offers high heat resistance (up to 600 °C) and excellent chemical durability.
- Not suitable for hydrofluoric acid (HF) or aggressive organic solvents like toluene or acetone.
- Powder seams may discolor over time but do not affect optical performance.
- Typical dimensional tolerance: ±0.06–0.08 mm.
