- Type: Bonded, For Aqueous Samples Only
Description
VAOB100 – 100 μL Sub-Micro Quartz Cuvette (Bonded, All Black, 2 Windows)
The VAOB100 is a sub-micro quartz cuvette engineered for absorption spectroscopy using extremely small aqueous sample volumes.
With an all-black wall design to reduce stray light and a 2 × 5 mm aperture window, this cuvette provides stable, accurate measurements in UV/VIS range.
Key Features
- Low sample volume: 100 μL, suitable for precious or limited aqueous samples.
- All black walls: effectively suppress stray light, improving signal-to-noise ratio.
- Bonded fabrication: ideal for aqueous samples, with lower cost and fast customization.
- 10 mm optical path length: compatible with standard UV/VIS spectrophotometers.
- PTFE lid: minimizes evaporation and sample contamination during measurement.
- Wavelength range: UV/VIS (190 – 2500 nm).
Typical Applications
- Absorbance and transmission of aqueous solutions
- Trace analysis with small sample volumes
- Biochemical, pharmaceutical, and life science assays
- Environmental monitoring and research

About Bonded Fabrication
Bonded quartz cuvettes are manufactured using high-precision bonding technology, offering:
- Designed for aqueous samples only (not suitable for aggressive organic solvents).
- Fast and flexible customization at a lower cost.
- Good optical clarity and stable path length tolerance (±0.06 – 0.08 mm).
Note: For experiments involving strong organic solvents or long-term storage, molded cuvettes are recommended for superior durability.
