Description
VNE090 – 31.5 mL Quartz Absorption Cuvette, 90 mm Lightpath, 2 Windows, Bonded Fabrication
The VNE090 is a long-path quartz cuvette designed for absorbance measurements in the UV/VIS range (190–2500 nm).
With a 90 mm optical path length and 2 clear optical windows, it enables high sensitivity detection of low-concentration analytes by significantly increasing the light–sample interaction distance.
Constructed using bonded fabrication, this cuvette offers fast customization and cost-effective production, making it an excellent choice for routine analytical work involving aqueous samples. It includes a PTFE lid to minimize evaporation and contamination during measurements.
Chemical Compatibility
Bonded quartz cuvettes are best suited for aqueous and mild chemical environments.
- ✔ Compatible: water, buffer solutions, mild acids and bases.
- ⚠ Limited compatibility with weak organic solvents and alcohols (short-term exposure only).
- ❌ Not compatible with aggressive organic solvents (e.g., toluene, acetone, chloroform, MEK) or HF.
Key Features
- 90 mm optical path length: enhances sensitivity for trace-level measurements.
- Bonded fabrication: cost-effective, fast lead time, ideal for aqueous use.
- 2 clear windows: optimized for standard absorbance detection.
- 31.5 mL capacity: suitable for larger volume sample measurements.
- UV/VIS quartz material: excellent transmission from 190 to 2500 nm.
Typical Applications
- Trace analysis of low-concentration solutions
- Environmental and water quality testing
- Absorbance spectroscopy
- Routine laboratory analysis
