Description

VNE086 – 200 µL Quartz Micro Flow Cuvette with Glass Tube Connectors, 6 mm Lightpath, 2 Windows, Bonded Fabrication

The VNE086 is a compact quartz flow-through cuvette designed for absorbance measurements in the UV/VIS range (190–2500 nm).
Featuring a 6 mm optical path length and 2 optical windows, this cuvette provides reliable performance in micro-volume continuous flow applications where sample consumption must be minimized.

Constructed using bonded fabrication, this cuvette offers excellent cost efficiency and short lead time, making it ideal for routine aqueous flow applications. The built-in glass tube connectors ensure simple integration with standard tubing systems.

Chemical Compatibility

Bonded quartz cuvettes are recommended for aqueous and mild chemical environments.

  • ✔ Compatible: water, buffer solutions, mild acids and bases.
  • ⚠ Limited compatibility with weak organic solvents and alcohols (short-term exposure only).
  • ❌ Not compatible with aggressive organic solvents (e.g., toluene, acetone, chloroform, MEK) or HF.

Key Features

  • 6 mm lightpath: optimized for micro-volume absorbance measurements.
  • 200 µL internal volume: minimal sample usage for efficient analysis.
  • Glass tube connectors: easy connection to flow systems.
  • Bonded fabrication: cost-effective for routine aqueous applications.
  • 2 optical windows: suitable for standard transmission detection.

Typical Applications

  • Micro-volume absorbance spectroscopy
  • Routine flow-through measurements
  • Environmental and water analysis
  • Online process monitoring

Why QVARZ Cuvettes and Cells?

QVARZ is world-renowned as the producer of premium quartz cuvettes. Over fifteen years of experience manufacturing quartz cuvettes ensures that every QVARZ cuvettes are manufactured to the most exacting standards for reproducible results.

  • Spectrophotometry cuvettes - Most spectrophotometry applications in the visible and UV ranges benefit from QVARZ spectrophotometry cuvettes. Our cuvettes made of fused quartz material deliver precise and reliable readings even at wavelengths as low as 190 nm. QVARZ cuvettes are compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers with standard 0.2 - 100 mm path lengths.

  • Fluorometry cuvettes - QVARZ brings two decades of experience molding high-quality spectrophotometry cuvettes to new four-sided clear cuvettes for fluorometry. Available in standard quartz material with ultra-low auto-fluorescence for the highest precision measurements.

  • Protective packaging - QVARZ cuvettes are encased in dust-free, low scratching expanded polystyrene packaging. This ensures that premium cuvettes arrive in the laboratory ina the same pristine condition they were in at the factory, with optical quality windows and free of contaminants.

  • Volumes for most purposes - Our cuvettes are available in a variety of ranges from macro to macro semi-micro sizes to respond to the needs of most scientific applications. We are also able to customize sample volume to deliver consistent, accurate findings.

  • Perform consistently - QVARZ Cuvettes are constructed from high-quality fused quartz materials and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavities to ensure the lowest fluctuation in extinction coefficient.

  • Customization - Custom cuvettes and cells are encouraged and available upon request; mechanical drawings with specifications and tolerances are prerequisites. Awesome pricing and flexibility on small quantities.
