Description
VALB100 Black-Walled Micro Flow Cuvette is a bonded quartz flow cell specially designed for micro-volume absorption measurements with excellent stray-light suppression. The black exterior walls effectively reduce background reflection and enhance signal-to-noise performance, making it ideal for low-concentration and kinetic applications. With a 10 mm optical path length and only 100 μL internal volume, this cuvette is optimized for flow-through measurements in high-sensitivity assays.
Key Features
- Black-walled design minimizes stray light and cross-talk, improving measurement stability and sensitivity.
- Flow-through structure with glass inlet and outlet tubes enables seamless integration with pumping or automated systems.
- Micro-volume chamber (100 μL) ensures minimal sample consumption with high optical precision.
- Optimized for UV/VIS spectroscopy in the 190–2500 nm wavelength range.
- Bonded fabrication ensures excellent sealing and dimensional stability.
Typical Applications
- Trace concentration measurements with low background noise.
- Continuous flow absorbance analysis and kinetic studies.
- Biochemical and environmental monitoring with small sample volumes.
- Integration with HPLC, peristaltic pump, or microfluidic systems.
Bonded Fabrication Notes
- Bonded quartz cuvettes are sealed with optical adhesive, providing strong and stable construction.
- Recommended for aqueous samples; avoid strong organic solvents or acids that can degrade the bonding layer.
- Rinse and clean immediately after use to maintain optical clarity and prolong service life.
