Description
VNE063 – 0.7 / 3.5 mL Quartz Fluorescence Cuvette with PTFE Valve (2 & 10 mm Lightpath, 4 Windows, Molded Fabrication)
The VNE063 is a high-performance quartz cuvette equipped with a screw-threaded PTFE valve, designed for advanced fluorescence and absorbance measurements involving volatile, anaerobic, or reactive samples.
This cuvette features dual optical path lengths of 2 mm and 10 mm, offering exceptional flexibility for both high-concentration and standard measurements. With 4 optically clear windows, it is ideal for right-angle fluorescence detection, absorbance spectroscopy, and specialized gas–liquid applications.
Constructed using molded fabrication, this cuvette provides the highest precision and chemical resistance. Molded quartz cuvettes are one-piece structures without bonded seams, ensuring durability and compatibility with strong acids, bases, and aggressive organic solvents. The PTFE threaded valve (M10) enables precise sealing and sample handling, making it suitable for controlled environments such as inert gas purging or sealed reactions.
Chemical Compatibility
Molded quartz cuvettes exhibit excellent chemical resistance and long service life in harsh laboratory environments.
- ✔ Compatible with strong acids and bases (except HF), alcohols, aqueous solutions, and most organic solvents.
- ✔ Excellent resistance to aggressive solvents such as toluene, acetone, MEK, chloroform, and carbon tetrachloride.
- ❌ Not compatible with hydrofluoric acid (HF).
- Durable for long-term use in anaerobic and chemically reactive conditions.
Key Features
- Dual optical path lengths (2 mm & 10 mm): allows both high-concentration and standard measurements in a single cuvette.
- PTFE threaded valve (M10): enables sealing for inert gas purging, controlled reactions, or anaerobic sample handling.
- 4 optical windows: ideal for right-angle fluorescence and absorbance measurements.
- Molded fabrication: superior chemical durability and high optical precision (±0.01 mm).
- Quartz material: UV/VIS transmission range of 190 – 2500 nm.
- Available volumes: 0.7 mL (2 mm) and 3.5 mL (10 mm).
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence spectroscopy (right-angle detection)
