Description
VAOMT05 Quartz Cuvette with Tube is a high-precision molded quartz cuvette designed for fluorescence and UV-Vis measurements that require high sensitivity with reduced optical path length. Featuring four optical windows, a 5 mm optical path, and a 1.75 ml chamber, it provides excellent performance for samples with higher absorbance or limited volume. The extended quartz tube (OD 8 mm, ID 6 mm) allows convenient filling and sealing without disturbing the sample.
Key Advantages
- Four clear optical windows suitable for right-angle fluorescence and multi-angle detection.
- 5 mm path length minimizes absorbance saturation while maintaining high signal quality.
- Molded fabrication ensures top-tier optical precision with ±0.01 mm path length tolerance.
- Wide spectral usability: 190–2500 nm (UV/VIS).
- Extended quartz tube simplifies manual filling and reliable sealing.
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence spectroscopy with high-sensitivity detection
- UV/Vis absorbance and transmission measurements
- Photoluminescence and kinetic studies
- Benchtop static sample experiments
Molded Fabrication Notes
- Top-grade molded quartz provides excellent surface finish and dimensional stability.
- Chemical compatibility: suitable for most acids, bases, and strong organic solvents including toluene and acetone. Do not use hydrofluoric acid (HF) or any reagent that reacts with quartz.
- Accurate geometry ensures stable, reproducible measurement performance.
