This flow-through cuvette is for fluorescence applications, with a path length of 10 mm. Resistant to most chemicals. Use up to 600°C. The price is for 1 piece.
- Type: Fused
Description
VLFWW Flow Cytometry Cell is a high-quality quartz flow cell designed for advanced fluorescence and flow cytometry measurements. It features a 10 mm optical path length and a 3500 μL sample volume, ideal for continuous-flow detection and laser-induced fluorescence analysis.
This cuvette is made with fused fabrication, providing excellent optical clarity and chemical resistance, and is particularly suited for short-to-medium-term analytical use in precision laboratory settings.
Fused Fabrication Features
- Can be heated up to 600 °C (1112 °F), suitable for high-temperature applications.
- Assembled using quartz powder fusion — no adhesives, ensuring high transmission and purity.
- Gaps may become stained over time; not recommended for long-term sample storage.
- Excellent resistance to most acids and bases, except for HF.
- Not compatible with aggressive organic solvents such as toluene, acetone, and similar strong organics.
- Typically has a shorter service life compared to molded fabrication.
Typical Applications
- Flow cytometry and fluorescence detection
- Laser-induced fluorescence measurements
- Time-resolved spectroscopy and online monitoring
- OEM or custom fluorescence system integration

Note: Fused fabrication cuvettes are heat resistant up to 600 °C and offer excellent optical clarity. However, they are not suitable for prolonged sample storage and are vulnerable to damage or staining when used with aggressive solvents such as HF, toluene, and acetone. Their service life is typically shorter than molded fabrication cuvettes, making them best suited for analytical and short-term measurement applications.
