Description
VFPM7 – 0.7 mL Micro Stopper Fluorescence Cuvette (Molded, 2 mm Lightpath, 4 Windows)
The VFPM7 is a molded quartz micro fluorescence cuvette with a 2 mm optical path length and a 0.7 mL sample volume. It is designed for fluorescence measurements where reduced path length helps minimize signal saturation while preserving sensitivity. This cuvette features 4 optical windows for excitation and emission detection, with a PTFE stopper providing basic sealing during standard laboratory use.
Key Features
- 2 mm optical path length: reduces signal saturation for high-intensity fluorescence measurements.
- 4 optical windows: optimized for standard right-angle excitation and emission detection.
- Micro volume (0.7 mL): suitable for precious or limited samples.
- Molded fabrication: highest optical quality with a pathlength tolerance of ±0.01 mm.
- Wavelength range: 190–2500 nm (UV/VIS).
- Temperature resistance: −60 °C (−76 °F) to 1200 °C (2192 °F).
- Chemical compatibility: resistant to most acids, bases, and aggressive organic solvents including toluene and acetone; not suitable for HF.
- Secure packaging: foam and bubble wrap; drop-tested from 1 meter before shipment.
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence spectroscopy
- Excitation–emission measurements
- Low-volume, high-concentration sample analysis
- General laboratory fluorescence testing

About Molded Fabrication
- Molded fabrication represents the highest quality standard in quartz cuvette manufacturing.
- Produced from a single piece of high-purity quartz with exceptional dimensional precision.
- Pathlength tolerance: ±0.01 mm, ensuring unmatched measurement accuracy.
- Excellent optical clarity and surface flatness, suitable for demanding fluorescence and absorption work.
- Outstanding chemical resistance — compatible with most acids, bases, and strong organic solvents (e.g., toluene, acetone); HF is not compatible.
Note: VFPM7 is a high-precision molded cuvette ideal for low-volume fluorescence measurements. The PTFE stopper provides standard sealing but is not designed for anaerobic or high-pressure conditions.
