VFOFS5 – 1.75 mL Semi-Micro Quartz Fluorescence Cuvette (Fused, 5 mm Width, 4 Windows, PTFE Lid)

The VFOFS5 is a high-performance fused quartz cuvette designed for UV/VIS fluorescence spectroscopy.
With a 5 mm internal width and a 10 mm optical path length, it is ideal for experiments that require larger sample volumes without compromising signal quality.
The 4-window configuration allows simultaneous excitation and emission, making it a reliable tool for a wide range of fluorescence and biochemical applications.

About Fused Fabrication

Fused quartz cuvettes are manufactured using high-temperature sintering of quartz powder, offering:

  • Excellent heat resistance — up to 600 °C.
  • High optical clarity and dimensional precision for accurate fluorescence measurements.
  • Chemical resistance to most acids and bases (except HF and strong organic solvents such as toluene or acetone).
  • Typical path length tolerance: ±0.06–0.08 mm.

Usage Notes

  • Ideal for fluorescence measurements requiring medium to large sample volumes.
  • Best used with aqueous or moderate solvents.
  • Not suitable for long-term storage of aggressive organic solvents.

Note: Fused quartz cuvettes provide superior optical clarity, thermal stability, and chemical durability, making them a top choice for high-sensitivity fluorescence spectroscopy.
