About Fused Fabrication
Fused quartz cuvettes are produced using high-temperature sintering of quartz powder, offering:
- Outstanding thermal stability — up to 600 °C.
- High optical clarity and dimensional accuracy for precise measurements.
- Excellent resistance to most acids and bases (except HF and strong organic solvents like toluene and acetone).
- Typical path length tolerance: ±0.06–0.08 mm.
Usage Notes
- Ideal for high-precision absorption measurements in analytical labs.
- Best used with aqueous solutions or moderate solvents.
- Not suitable for long-term storage of aggressive organic solvents.
Note: Fused quartz cuvettes provide superior durability and chemical resistance compared to bonded cuvettes, making them an excellent choice for demanding research environments.
