Description

VFOFS2010 Dual-Pathlength Quartz Cuvette is a high-quality fused quartz cuvette designed for fluorescence and UV/Vis spectroscopy. With dual optical path lengths of 10 mm and 20 mm in a single cell, it offers excellent flexibility for both routine and high-sensitivity applications. The 7 ml capacity and four clear optical windows ensure high light transmission and reliable analytical performance.

Key Advantages

  • Dual path length (10 mm / 20 mm) design provides flexibility for measurements at different concentration ranges.
  • Four precision-polished quartz windows offer excellent transmission across the UV/VIS range (190–2500 nm).
  • Fused fabrication allows high temperature tolerance (up to 600 °C) and chemical resistance.
  • Compact and durable construction suitable for demanding laboratory environments.

Typical Applications

  • Fluorescence spectroscopy requiring flexible path length selection.
  • UV/Vis absorbance analysis at high precision.
  • Biochemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental sample testing.
  • Low-concentration and high-sensitivity measurements.

Fused Fabrication Notes

  • Fused quartz cuvettes can tolerate temperatures up to 600 °C (1112 °F) and provide stable optical performance.
  • They are assembled using quartz powder, and gaps may stain over time. Long-term sample storage is not recommended.
  • Avoid using HF (hydrofluoric acid), toluene, acetone, and other strong organic solvents, as they significantly shorten the cuvette’s lifespan.

Why QVARZ Cuvettes and Cells?

QVARZ is world-renowned as the producer of premium quartz cuvettes. Over fifteen years of experience manufacturing quartz cuvettes ensures that every QVARZ cuvettes are manufactured to the most exacting standards for reproducible results.

  • Spectrophotometry cuvettes - Most spectrophotometry applications in the visible and UV ranges benefit from QVARZ spectrophotometry cuvettes. Our cuvettes made of fused quartz material deliver precise and reliable readings even at wavelengths as low as 190 nm. QVARZ cuvettes are compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers with standard 0.2 - 100 mm path lengths.

  • Fluorometry cuvettes - QVARZ brings two decades of experience molding high-quality spectrophotometry cuvettes to new four-sided clear cuvettes for fluorometry. Available in standard quartz material with ultra-low auto-fluorescence for the highest precision measurements.

  • Protective packaging - QVARZ cuvettes are encased in dust-free, low scratching expanded polystyrene packaging. This ensures that premium cuvettes arrive in the laboratory ina the same pristine condition they were in at the factory, with optical quality windows and free of contaminants.

  • Volumes for most purposes - Our cuvettes are available in a variety of ranges from macro to macro semi-micro sizes to respond to the needs of most scientific applications. We are also able to customize sample volume to deliver consistent, accurate findings.

  • Perform consistently - QVARZ Cuvettes are constructed from high-quality fused quartz materials and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavities to ensure the lowest fluctuation in extinction coefficient.

  • Customization - Custom cuvettes and cells are encouraged and available upon request; mechanical drawings with specifications and tolerances are prerequisites. Awesome pricing and flexibility on small quantities.
