Description
VAPM6 – 0.35 mL Micro Stopper Absorption Cuvette (Molded, 1 mm Lightpath, 2 Windows)
The VAPM6 is a molded quartz micro absorption cuvette with a 1 mm optical path length and a 0.35 mL sample volume. This compact design is ideal for measurements with limited sample volumes or high concentration solutions. It features 2 optical windows optimized for UV/VIS absorption spectroscopy and a PTFE stopper providing basic sealing during routine experiments.
Key Features
- 1 mm optical path length: suitable for high concentration or low-volume absorbance measurements.
- 2 optical windows: standard for high-clarity transmission in spectrophotometric applications.
- Micro volume (0.35 mL): minimizes sample consumption while maintaining measurement accuracy.
- PTFE stopper: provides standard sealing for routine work (not for anaerobic or high-sealing applications).
- Molded fabrication: highest optical quality with a pathlength tolerance of ±0.01 mm.
- Wavelength range: 190–2500 nm (UV/VIS).
- Temperature resistance: −60 °C (−76 °F) to 1200 °C (2192 °F).
- Chemical compatibility: resistant to common laboratory acids, bases, and organic solvents.
- Secure packaging: foam and bubble wrap; drop-tested from 1 meter before shipment.
Typical Applications
- UV/VIS absorption spectroscopy
- Low-volume absorbance testing
- High concentration measurements
- Routine laboratory analysis
