This wide clear wall cuvette is for absorption applications, with a path length of 6 mm. Resistant to most chemicals. Use up to 600°C. The price is for 1 piece.
- Type: Fused
Description
VAOF606 Fused Quartz Absorption Cuvette is a 2-window cuvette with a 6 mm optical path length and a 6 ml volume.
It features a compact wide clear wall design, making it ideal for UV/VIS absorbance measurements with limited sample volumes.
Fused fabrication provides excellent chemical and thermal resistance, ensuring stable performance in demanding analytical applications.
Key Features
- 6 mm optical path length — suitable for medium to high concentration samples and reducing absorbance saturation.
- 2-window design — optimized for straight-beam UV/VIS absorbance measurements.
- Fused fabrication — excellent thermal resistance (up to 600 °C) and strong chemical stability in most acid and base conditions.
- Compact geometry — ideal for applications where sample volume is limited.
- Broad wavelength range — 190 – 2500 nm, suitable for UV/VIS and NIR measurements.
Typical Applications
- UV/VIS absorbance and transmission spectroscopy.
- Protein and nucleic acid quantification at 260/280 nm.
- Environmental testing and water quality analysis.
- Biological and chemical assays with limited sample volume.
- Routine laboratory and research applications.
Fused Fabrication Notes
- Fused fabrication provides excellent thermal and chemical durability.
- Not suitable for hydrofluoric acid (HF) or strong organic solvents such as toluene and acetone.
- Powder seams may discolor over time but do not affect optical performance.
- Typical path length tolerance is ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
