Description

VLMB15 Bubble Free Flow Cell is a high-performance quartz flow cell specifically engineered for fluorescence applications where stable signal, continuous flow, and minimal bubble interference are essential. With a 10 mm optical path length and a 1500 μL sample volume, it is ideally suited for medium-volume flow analysis in spectroscopy, biotechnology, and analytical research.

This model uses molded fabrication, providing outstanding optical clarity, smooth inner surfaces, and dimensional precision. Its bubble-free design effectively eliminates trapped air, improving signal stability and repeatability for high-sensitivity measurements.

Molded Fabrication Features

  • Superior optical transmission and highly precise surface finish.
  • No adhesives are used — ensuring clean, inert, and stable flow channels over long-term use.
  • Excellent chemical resistance — tolerates almost all acids, bases, and organic solvents that do not react with quartz, including toluene and acetone (HF is the only major exception).
  • Thermal stability up to 1200 °C for short-term and 600 °C for continuous use.
  • Overcomes typical limitations of fused cuvettes, such as seam staining and reduced solvent compatibility.
  • Best suited for clean, stable, high-sensitivity analytical environments.

Typical Applications

  • Fluorescence spectroscopy with continuous flow
  • Liquid chromatography detector flow cells
  • Biological and chemical assay systems requiring stable optical signals
  • High-precision optical measurements in research and OEM instruments

Key Features

  • 10 mm optical path length with 1.5 mL volume capacity
  • 4 clear optical windows for fluorescence excitation and detection
  • Quartz tubing (OD 5 mm / ID 3 mm) for secure and stable fluid connections
  • Bubble-free structure ensures stable and reproducible signal
  • UV/VIS compatible (190 – 2500 nm)

Why QVARZ Cuvettes and Cells?

QVARZ is world-renowned as the producer of premium quartz cuvettes. Over fifteen years of experience manufacturing quartz cuvettes ensures that every QVARZ cuvettes are manufactured to the most exacting standards for reproducible results.

  • Spectrophotometry cuvettes - Most spectrophotometry applications in the visible and UV ranges benefit from QVARZ spectrophotometry cuvettes. Our cuvettes made of fused quartz material deliver precise and reliable readings even at wavelengths as low as 190 nm. QVARZ cuvettes are compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers with standard 0.2 - 100 mm path lengths.

  • Fluorometry cuvettes - QVARZ brings two decades of experience molding high-quality spectrophotometry cuvettes to new four-sided clear cuvettes for fluorometry. Available in standard quartz material with ultra-low auto-fluorescence for the highest precision measurements.

  • Protective packaging - QVARZ cuvettes are encased in dust-free, low scratching expanded polystyrene packaging. This ensures that premium cuvettes arrive in the laboratory ina the same pristine condition they were in at the factory, with optical quality windows and free of contaminants.

  • Volumes for most purposes - Our cuvettes are available in a variety of ranges from macro to macro semi-micro sizes to respond to the needs of most scientific applications. We are also able to customize sample volume to deliver consistent, accurate findings.

  • Perform consistently - QVARZ Cuvettes are constructed from high-quality fused quartz materials and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavities to ensure the lowest fluctuation in extinction coefficient.

  • Customization - Custom cuvettes and cells are encouraged and available upon request; mechanical drawings with specifications and tolerances are prerequisites. Awesome pricing and flexibility on small quantities.
