About Glass Cuvettes
Glass cuvettes are a cost-effective and stable solution for routine VIS/NIR spectroscopy:
- Excellent optical clarity in 350–2000 nm range.
- Stable fused construction, resistant to most aqueous solutions.
- Ideal for visible and NIR measurements.
- Not suitable for UV spectroscopy below 350 nm.
Usage Notes
- Best for highly concentrated samples to avoid oversaturation.
- Compatible with standard spectrophotometer holders.
- Not recommended for aggressive acids or solvents.
Note: Glass cuvettes are excellent for visible/NIR work. For UV applications, quartz cuvettes are recommended.
