Description
VFPFA – 3.5 mL Standard Stopper Fluorescence Cuvette (Fused, 10 mm Lightpath, 4 Windows)
The VFPFA is a standard fused quartz fluorescence cuvette with a 10 mm optical path length and a 3.5 mL sample volume.
Designed for fluorescence spectroscopy and anaerobic experiments, this cuvette features a PTFE stopper that enables sealing against oxygen or volatile sample loss. Its Fused Fabrication construction ensures high temperature resistance, chemical durability, and stable optical performance.
Key Features
- 10 mm optical path length: standard size compatible with most fluorescence spectrometers.
- 4 optical windows: optimized for excitation and emission detection.
- PTFE stopper: allows anaerobic and sealed measurements, preventing contamination or evaporation.
- Fused fabrication: durable structure with good optical transmission across UV/VIS range.
- Wavelength range: 190–2500 nm (UV/VIS).
- Thermal resistance: up to 600 °C (1112 °F).
- Chemical resistance: resistant to most acids and bases; not suitable for HF, toluene, acetone, or aggressive organic solvents.
- Pathlength tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
- Secure packaging: foam and bubble wrap; drop-tested from 1 meter before shipment.
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence spectroscopy
- Anaerobic and oxygen-sensitive experiments
- Biological and biochemical assays
- Environmental, pharmaceutical, and chemical analysis
