Description
VFOF5020 Dual-Pathlength Quartz Cuvette is a high-capacity fused quartz cuvette designed for advanced fluorescence and UV/Vis spectroscopy. It features two optical path lengths (20 mm / 50 mm) in one cell, allowing researchers to flexibly switch between high-sensitivity and standard measurements. With a large sample volume of 53 ml and four precision-polished optical windows, it delivers excellent optical performance for analytical and research applications.
Key Advantages
- Dual path length (20 mm and 50 mm) — ideal for both concentrated and trace-level measurements.
- Large 53 ml chamber supports long-path, high-sensitivity experiments.
- Four clear optical windows for maximum flexibility in optical detection setups.
- Fused fabrication allows heating up to 600 °C (1112 °F), ensuring high stability and UV transparency.
- Wavelength range: 190 – 2500 nm (UV/VIS).
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence and absorbance spectroscopy for trace detection
- UV/Vis analysis requiring long path length
- Environmental, biochemical, and pharmaceutical research
- High-temperature and high-stability optical measurements
Fused Fabrication Notes
- Fused quartz can be heated up to 600 °C (1112 °F).
- Assembled with quartz powder — seams may discolor over time if samples are stored too long. Long-term storage is not recommended.
- Excellent resistance to most acids and solvents, but avoid HF, toluene, acetone, and other strong organic solvents, which will shorten the service life.
