Description

VFOB5010 Dual-Pathlength Quartz Cuvette is a large-volume bonded quartz cuvette designed for fluorescence and UV/Vis spectroscopy. It features a dual path length of 10 mm and 50 mm, offering enhanced measurement flexibility for both high-concentration and trace detection applications. With a total volume of 17.5 ml and four clear optical windows, this cuvette is ideal for advanced research and analytical work requiring a longer light path and stable signal response.

Key Advantages

  • Dual optical path length (10 mm / 50 mm) for flexible measurement sensitivity.
  • Large 17.5 ml chamber supports sample-rich experiments and long-path detection.
  • Four clear optical windows provide excellent transmission and versatile detection angles.
  • Bonded fabrication provides high structural stability and chemical resistance suitable for routine lab use.
  • Broad wavelength range: 190–2500 nm (UV/VIS).

Typical Applications

  • Trace-level fluorescence or absorbance measurements requiring long path lengths
  • Routine UV/Vis spectroscopy for aqueous and solvent-based samples
  • Biochemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental analysis
  • High-sensitivity kinetic or concentration studies

Bonded Fabrication Notes

  • Bonded quartz is highly stable, with good optical quality and durability for everyday laboratory use.
  • Recommended for most aqueous solutions, mild solvents, and standard fluorescence assays.
  • Not suitable for HF and certain aggressive solvents that may attack bonding materials.
  • Long path length increases sensitivity, especially useful for low-concentration samples.

Why QVARZ Cuvettes and Cells?

QVARZ is world-renowned as the producer of premium quartz cuvettes. Over fifteen years of experience manufacturing quartz cuvettes ensures that every QVARZ cuvettes are manufactured to the most exacting standards for reproducible results.

  • Spectrophotometry cuvettes - Most spectrophotometry applications in the visible and UV ranges benefit from QVARZ spectrophotometry cuvettes. Our cuvettes made of fused quartz material deliver precise and reliable readings even at wavelengths as low as 190 nm. QVARZ cuvettes are compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers with standard 0.2 - 100 mm path lengths.

  • Fluorometry cuvettes - QVARZ brings two decades of experience molding high-quality spectrophotometry cuvettes to new four-sided clear cuvettes for fluorometry. Available in standard quartz material with ultra-low auto-fluorescence for the highest precision measurements.

  • Protective packaging - QVARZ cuvettes are encased in dust-free, low scratching expanded polystyrene packaging. This ensures that premium cuvettes arrive in the laboratory ina the same pristine condition they were in at the factory, with optical quality windows and free of contaminants.

  • Volumes for most purposes - Our cuvettes are available in a variety of ranges from macro to macro semi-micro sizes to respond to the needs of most scientific applications. We are also able to customize sample volume to deliver consistent, accurate findings.

  • Perform consistently - QVARZ Cuvettes are constructed from high-quality fused quartz materials and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavities to ensure the lowest fluctuation in extinction coefficient.

  • Customization - Custom cuvettes and cells are encouraged and available upon request; mechanical drawings with specifications and tolerances are prerequisites. Awesome pricing and flexibility on small quantities.
