Description
VAOFS03 – 105 μL Semi-Micro Quartz Cuvette (Fused, 0.3 mm Width, 2 Windows)
The VAOFS03 is a high-precision semi-micro fused quartz cuvette with an ultra-narrow 0.3 mm internal width and a standard 10 mm optical path length. This design minimizes sample consumption while maintaining excellent signal quality, making it ideal for high-concentration measurements, trace analysis, and microvolume UV/VIS absorbance spectroscopy.
Key Features
- Sample volume: 105 μL — ideal for precious or limited samples.
- 0.3 mm internal width: optimized for high-concentration samples and microvolume assays.
- 10 mm optical path length: compatible with most UV/VIS spectrophotometers.
- 2 optical windows: designed for precise absorbance measurements.
- Fused fabrication: heat resistant up to 600 °C (1112 °F) with good chemical stability.
- Chemical compatibility: resistant to most acids and bases; not suitable for HF, toluene, acetone, or other strong organic solvents (these may shorten service life).
- Path length tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
- Wavelength range: UV/VIS (190 – 2500 nm).
Typical Applications
- UV/VIS absorption spectroscopy
- High-concentration and microvolume analysis
- Protein and nucleic acid quantification
- Pharmaceutical and biochemical research

About Fused Fabrication
- Made by sintering quartz powder at high temperature for durability and precision.
- Resistant to most acids and bases, but not compatible with HF or aggressive solvents like toluene and acetone.
- Powder-fused seams may stain; not recommended for long-term sample storage.
- Typical path length tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
Note: Fused quartz cuvettes offer high optical performance and thermal stability, making them ideal for demanding analytical applications.
