Description
VFOFS2010 Dual-Pathlength Quartz Cuvette is a high-quality fused quartz cuvette designed for fluorescence and UV/Vis spectroscopy. With dual optical path lengths of 10 mm and 20 mm in a single cell, it offers excellent flexibility for both routine and high-sensitivity applications. The 7 ml capacity and four clear optical windows ensure high light transmission and reliable analytical performance.
Key Advantages
- Dual path length (10 mm / 20 mm) design provides flexibility for measurements at different concentration ranges.
- Four precision-polished quartz windows offer excellent transmission across the UV/VIS range (190–2500 nm).
- Fused fabrication allows high temperature tolerance (up to 600 °C) and chemical resistance.
- Compact and durable construction suitable for demanding laboratory environments.
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence spectroscopy requiring flexible path length selection.
- UV/Vis absorbance analysis at high precision.
- Biochemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental sample testing.
- Low-concentration and high-sensitivity measurements.
Fused Fabrication Notes
- Fused quartz cuvettes can tolerate temperatures up to 600 °C (1112 °F) and provide stable optical performance.
- They are assembled using quartz powder, and gaps may stain over time. Long-term sample storage is not recommended.
- Avoid using HF (hydrofluoric acid), toluene, acetone, and other strong organic solvents, as they significantly shorten the cuvette’s lifespan.
