Description

VNE066 – Customized Quartz Flow Cell (Bonded Fabrication, For Aqueous Samples)

The VNE066 is a cost-effective, customizable quartz flow cuvette designed primarily for aqueous sample analysis, kinetic studies, and online monitoring.
Constructed using bonded fabrication, this flow cell provides excellent optical performance at an affordable price, making it ideal for R&D projects, OEM integration, and fast prototyping.

Bonded fabrication allows rapid customization of optical path length, chamber geometry, and volume — offering significant flexibility compared to standard cuvettes. This design is best suited for aqueous solutions or buffered media. It is not recommended for organic solvents or harsh chemicals, as these may degrade the bonding interface over time.

Chemical Compatibility

Bonded quartz cuvettes are intended for use with water-based solutions only.

  • ✔ Compatible: aqueous solutions, buffered solutions, mild acids and bases.
  • ⚠ Limited compatibility with weak organic solvents; not recommended for continuous exposure.
  • ❌ Not compatible: strong organic solvents (e.g. toluene, acetone, chloroform), HF, or corrosive chemicals.

Key Features

  • Optimized for aqueous samples: suitable for most water-based analytical applications.
  • Low-cost bonded fabrication: ideal for rapid customization and budget-sensitive applications.
  • Custom optical path length and volume: flexible design for OEM or research use.
  • Quartz material: excellent UV/VIS transmission (190–2500 nm).
  • Compact structure: simple and lightweight design for easy integration.

Typical Applications

  • Flow-through spectroscopy (UV/VIS)
  • Kinetic and online reaction monitoring
  • Biochemical and environmental analysis
  • R&D testing and OEM instrument integration

Why QVARZ Cuvettes and Cells?

QVARZ is world-renowned as the producer of premium quartz cuvettes. Over fifteen years of experience manufacturing quartz cuvettes ensures that every QVARZ cuvettes are manufactured to the most exacting standards for reproducible results.

  • Spectrophotometry cuvettes - Most spectrophotometry applications in the visible and UV ranges benefit from QVARZ spectrophotometry cuvettes. Our cuvettes made of fused quartz material deliver precise and reliable readings even at wavelengths as low as 190 nm. QVARZ cuvettes are compatible with most spectrophotometers and photometers with standard 0.2 - 100 mm path lengths.

  • Fluorometry cuvettes - QVARZ brings two decades of experience molding high-quality spectrophotometry cuvettes to new four-sided clear cuvettes for fluorometry. Available in standard quartz material with ultra-low auto-fluorescence for the highest precision measurements.

  • Protective packaging - QVARZ cuvettes are encased in dust-free, low scratching expanded polystyrene packaging. This ensures that premium cuvettes arrive in the laboratory ina the same pristine condition they were in at the factory, with optical quality windows and free of contaminants.

  • Volumes for most purposes - Our cuvettes are available in a variety of ranges from macro to macro semi-micro sizes to respond to the needs of most scientific applications. We are also able to customize sample volume to deliver consistent, accurate findings.

  • Perform consistently - QVARZ Cuvettes are constructed from high-quality fused quartz materials and are grouped by manufacturing mold cavities to ensure the lowest fluctuation in extinction coefficient.

  • Customization - Custom cuvettes and cells are encouraged and available upon request; mechanical drawings with specifications and tolerances are prerequisites. Awesome pricing and flexibility on small quantities.
