Description

VLFPP Flow Cell is a precision-engineered quartz flow cell designed for UV/VIS absorption measurements that require stable flow, excellent optical clarity, and tight sealing. With a 10 mm optical path length and a 1.3 mL internal volume, this model is ideal for mid-volume analytical and industrial spectroscopy applications.

This cell is manufactured using fused fabrication technology — assembled with quartz powder at high temperature without adhesive. It offers stable optical performance and chemical resistance but requires proper handling due to the shorter service life compared to molded fabrication. The cell is equipped with PTFE stoppers for a reliable airtight seal.

Fused Fabrication Features

  • Assembled with quartz powder — no adhesives used.
  • Excellent optical transmission and stable performance across UV/VIS (190–2500 nm).
  • Can be heated up to 600 °C (1112 °F).
  • Resistant to most acids and bases (except HF).
  • Not recommended for prolonged use with aggressive organics (e.g., toluene, acetone) due to potential seam staining and reduced lifespan.
  • Path length tolerance approximately ±0.06–0.08 mm.
