Description
VFOB120 Sub Micro Fluorescence Cuvette (3-Windows, All Black)
The VFOB120 is a sub-micro volume quartz fluorescence cuvette engineered for high-sensitivity detection with minimal sample consumption.
With a 10 mm optical pathlength and 120 µL sample volume, it is suitable for a wide range of biochemical and analytical fluorescence applications.
The 3-window design supports excitation and emission measurement, while the all-black wall structure minimizes stray light and background interference.
Key Features
- 120 µL working volume — ideal for sub-micro assays and low concentration samples.
- 10 mm optical pathlength — compatible with most fluorometers and UV/VIS instruments.
- 3-window configuration — allows efficient excitation and emission detection for fluorescence applications.
- All-black walls — suppress background light and enhance sensitivity.
- Bonded fabrication — cost-effective and customizable; suitable for aqueous and mild buffer solutions.
- PTFE lid — helps minimize evaporation during long or sensitive measurements.
Typical Applications
- Fluorescence spectroscopy
- Protein, DNA, RNA quantification
- Enzyme kinetics and biochemical assays
- Low concentration and trace detection
Bonded Fabrication Notes
- Recommended for aqueous and mild buffer solutions.
- Not suitable for HF, strong acids/bases, or aggressive organic solvents.
- Advantages: low cost, quick delivery, and flexible customization.
- Optical path tolerance: ±0.06 – 0.08 mm.
- For solvent resistance or harsh conditions, consider fused or molded quartz cuvettes.
